During the unforeseen tough times of the Covid-19 pandemic, Nityo Infotech Corporation has collaborated with the Hare Krishna foundation of Vrindavan to distribute food packets to the underprivileged and animals. With their support and a vision to help society, they distributed more than 2000 packets of food to the people in need during the peak of the Coronavirus pandemic in India.
Jay Shetty's Help India Breathe COVID Relief Fund raised millions of dollars to provide emergency relief to those affected by the pandemic in India. Nityo Infotech was honored to be the online event production sponsor, and proud to have been a part of this incredible initiative. We were able to connect people from around the world and help to raise even more awareness and support for this important cause. The donations were used to provide oxygen concentrators, ventilators, and other essential medical supplies to hospitals and individuals in need.
Midday Meal is a program offered by the Government of Maharashtra to provide meals to underprivileged school children. Education is needed for a better future, but hunger, an immediate need, forces a young child away from school. Midday meal provides 200,000 meals daily throughout India, dramatically increasing school attendance.
The scheme aims to break the hunger cycle by incentivizing impoverished families to keep their kids in class. For most children, it is their only complete meal of the day. The service is performed free from commercial motives to benefit all hungry stomachs without considering religion, caste, creed, or sex.
With the generous help of private donors, Midday Meal has grown considerably since its inception.
Venu Madhuri is a rural development project aiming for sustainable development and self-sufficiency through traditional wisdom. In pursuance of Mahatma Gandhi's Charkha movement, this project aims to deliver basic amenities, revive the cotton industry, and restore a sense of empowerment to village populations.
In India, the majority of the population is in the villages. But the challenge is that the villages need more basic amenities. The Indian nation's father, Mahatma Gandhi, contemplated a program of village organization based on sound agricultural practices and village industry that would ensure the proper health and well-being of the villagers. Inspired by Gandhian ideals and the vision of Radhanath Swami, Venu Madhuri adopted a village named Ramanwadi in Maharashtra as a model village to replicate the project in other villages later.
