Specific skills; • Knowledgeable and experiences with JAVA, Shell scripting, Weblogic, Linux, Solaris, Bootstraps, OpenShift Competencies; • Excellent interpersonal skills necessary to work effectively with colleagues at various levels of the organization. • Must have experience with design and development of large-scale distributed applications in a mission-critical production environment. • In-depth knowledge of Java/Java EE standards. • Proven experience with Java microservices frameworks (Spring Cloud) and the Netflix OSS stack. • Proven experience with containerized applications. Bonus points for experience with container orchestration frameworks eg. Kubernetes, Docker Swarm.

Roles & Responsibilities

Job purpose; • Support allocated Platform Upgrades/setup Projects end to end • Work with stakeholders and external vendors to ensure – Platform related tasks like upgrade/ setup is executed successfully • Assist Platform monitoring setup • Ensure regular capacity and security analysis of Platform is conducted and preventive tasks are identified to be planned and executed • Conduct PoC as required • Centralize technical and implementation documents centrally in Confluence • Reporting to lead
