Education Details;  Bachelor Degree, IT/Computer Science Specific Skill;  Knowledgeable in Shell scripting, JAVA, Weblogic, Docker, OpenShift, LDAP  Object-oriented programming and software design  Data structures and algorithms  JavaScript, Nodejs, MongoDB, Express, C/C++, Relational databases (MySQL etc), HTML, CSS, Mobile development (Flutter) Competencies;  Excellent interpersonal skills necessary to work effectively with colleagues at various levels of the organization.  Must have experience with design and development of large-scale distributed applications in a mission-critical production environment.  In-depth knowledge of Java/Java EE standards.  Proven experience with Java microservices frameworks (Spring Cloud) and the Netflix OSS stack.  Proven experience with containerized applications. Bonus points for experience with container orchestration frameworks eg. Kubernetes, Docker Swarm.

Roles & Responsibilities

Job Purpose;  Lead (technical) allocated Platform Upgrade/Setup Projects end to end  Work with stakeholders and external vendors to ensure – Platform related tasks like upgrade/ setup is executed successfully  Ensure necessary Platform monitoring is in place  Ensure obsolesce, capacity and security analysis are periodically conducted and appropriate actions taken where necessary  Initiate PoC on Platform upgrade /setup  Centralize technical and implementation documents centrally in Confluence  Manage stakeholders communication/reporting  Represent/Present Technically in Mgmt Forums  Conduct feasibility and analyze Platforms can be used regionally, if so, explore its regional implementation
